Weekends are for Birchbox Brags
Happy Saturday everyone! It's been a long week for me so nothing made me happier than to get my Birchbox package in the mail yesterday! I had missed the UPS man by about 2 minutes on Thursday and was DEVASTATED that I didn't get the package then...my boyfriend probably thought I was insane for being so upset over a package. To ensure that I didn't miss it today, I literally sat outside and waited for UPS for a solid two hours for this. I guess the first step is always admitting you have an addiction so I'll go ahead and admit that I'm addicted to Birchbox.

| I had about 80 points saved up so I used them all to get this for free :) I also added the Mystery Sample Pack which gives you two samples for orders over $35 for free and I also added the Ace Exclusive Bonus Pack again since my order was over $75. |
To be honest, I'm extremely disappointed that the Ace Bag contained the exact same samples as the last one I received. I'm guessing that the Ace Bags are all like this so I kind of wish now I had used my coupon code for something else. I haven't decided whether or not I'll contact customer service about it yet or not because I kind of feel like maybe I was a little dumb for thinking different samples would come...but other than that, I'm really happy with the rest of my purchases.
My absolute favorite item is the Birchbox Ombre Long Sleeve Sweatshirt. I LOVE IT. It's so soft (I'm currently wearing it even though its hot outside) and I can definitely see myself buying it in another pattern. I also love the amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo. I had sampled this before and its honestly the best dry shampoo I've ever used. It actually does what its supposed to and unfortunately, the full size was sold out so I went ahead and just bought two travel sizes. I've found that a lot of dry shampoos tend to make my hair greasy or wet-looking, but this does just the opposite and it will definitely become a staple product in my beauty collection.

| I chose the Spornette Ion Fusion Cushion Brush mostly because I just needed a new hairbrush because I've been using the same drugstore hairbrush with a broken handle for over a year now. I didn't expect that I would fall in love with it though! Its so soft on my hair and I think the combination of bristles is just great. |

| These are the two samples that came in my mystery sample package. I'm currently using another sample serum so I won't try this one out until I'm done with that. I'm excited about the hair mask though because my hair is definitely a little damaged so I'll likely be using this sometime this weekend for some TLC. |

| I've been wanting to find a great Matte Top Coat for a while now and I've heard great things about the RUFFIAN brand so I decided to purchase the RUFFIAN Matte Coat. I tried it out earlier and it worked like magic! I was planning on taking a picture to show you, but unfortunately my nails got ruined from the heat and having to go through my storage unit so maybe I'll get the chance to redo them later. My only disappointment is how small it is because after just one use, I can already tell that it won't last as long for someone who frequently changes their polish like me. |
